Zack and Ace have been dancing around their "just friends" relationship for years. Being Circ means unavoidable intimacy when the mating heat strikes, and it's putting a strain on their friendship. They're finally nearing an understanding about what they truly mean to each other when they're stunned by Kelly, the woman they've been lusting after for years. Suddenly she's available to both in a way she's never been before. Lust and love confuse the issue, until wounded emotions pull the threesome apart and Kelly is captured by the enemy. Can Zack and Ace come to grips with their differences in time to save Kelly, or will their difficulties lose them the loves of their lives?
I really liked this book, so much so I read it in one night. Zack has loved Ace for three years but Ace can just not handle that because he thinks if he accepts Zack's love he will be gay. Their Beasts are already bonded but it takes a near death for Ace to realize that he does actually love Zack. The entire team already knows they are bonded and that when the mating heat hits them they are usually off by themselves. Ace grew up with a really homophobic father that did a number on Ace. Kelly has worked for Doc and the team for years and both Zack and Ace are in love with her, little do they know that she is in love with both of them and that she is a Circ female that Doc has been controlling her changing for years. Once Ace is wounded and given a virus from the evil scientist that infects Kelly it pushes her changing ahead by a few years. She goes through her changing with help from both Zack and Ace. Ace says a few things to Kelly that hurts Zack's feelings and he takes off, once he returns things only get worse for the two of them. Kelly sends them off alone to work out their problems and while they are gone she is kidnapped. Of course they find out and go after her. With everything worked out between the three of them they make an announcement that shocks and excites the entire team. Another warning if you don't like M/M or M/F/M then don't bother reading this series.
