Vicki-Ann Bush- Through the Door to Dusk

I enjoyed this book, it was a fast read. I think it is more of a Young Adult book instead of the more adult books that I normally read BUT I did enjoy it. It left me wanting more and with a few unanswered questions which will make any reader look forward to the answers in the following books. The main character is a young 20-something year old that lives in Las Vegas. His life has a taken a turn and he is now has to work to help support his family. On a wintery Vegas night he sees a young man just appear out of thin air, the man is withering in pain and then he starts to flake away- skin and all. Not sure if what he saw really happened he goes back to the same spot the next night and three more people just appear, he watches them and tries to follow them but as quickly as they appeared they then disappear. He does this a few times before he is finally able to talk to them but they always only stay for a few minutes each night to gather food. Some questions are answered but some were not so like I said before I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
