Drangonfly In Amber- Diana Gabaldon (book 2)

Claire made her decision and it was to stay in the 18th century with Jamie Fraser. Now with her unique knowledge of events to come she and Jamie travel to Paris to join with Charles Stuart (Bonny Prince Charlie) in hopes of changing the outcome of the Jacobite uprising of 1745. Along the way they deal with Captain Randall again and also with Claire being taken by the English to spare Jamie and his men being tried as traitors. We also learn if Claire will return to her past in the future. I must say that this book brought tears to my eyes and Jamie is a great man.
