Sutton, 6'3", 240 + lbs, shaved head and blue eyes, that should be enough to pull you into this book, right? But it gets better. The self made computer genius is holding onto the pull from the bloodlust by just a hair. In Axel & Darcy's book he rescued Carla (Darcy's witch friend) from the Rogue leader, and he touched her blood. Now his pull towards her is getting to where he can't control it. He needs her blood and her,body.
Carla had a twin sister Keri, who was killed by rouges two years earlier and since then she has felt nothing but grief until she meets Sutton. Something has sparked between the two of them but Carla is able to go to another plane with her magic, like an out of body experience, where she can take Sutton with her, while there she hears her sister's voice telling her to get the eagle. Sutton's bird of choice that was tattooed on his body is an eagle, so Carla thinks that Sutton is Keri's soul mirror but Sutton thinks it is Carla. Tore between her growing love for Sutton and saving her sister, Carla has to make a hard decision, pick the man she loves or save her sister's soul.
This book kept me spellbound from beginning to end, of course I wanted Carla to be Sutton's soul mirror but I wanted Keri's soul safe too (the end will surprise you). The power behind the writing just pulls you straight into the story to where you don't ever want to escape. Captivating, Intriguing and Enchanted
