Judge on the pictures that resemble the hunter, and the answers they give to the three questions below their pictures.


First up is Axel Locke, the hero from BLOOD MAGIC (Book 1). Axel is the leader of the Wing Slayer Hunters, and the first to find his soul mirror witch, Darcy. Question: What is your strongest first impression of your mate?

Axel: It was when I kidnapped Darcy. She had been attacked by two rogues, and I barely got there in time to save her. Her lip was swollen and bloody, she had a cut on her neck, her hair was a mess, and she was scared. She didn’t even know then that she was a witch and to top it all off, I kidnapped her and brought her to my house. Yet she stood on my front porch in the silvery moonlight, and challenged me, absolutely refusing to back down or be cowered. I knew then I was in deep trouble with this witch. 

 Question: Which do you prefer on your mate; tight jeans or short skirt?

Axel: Short skirt. Especially if we’re playing pool. Seeing her bent over to make the shot…yeah, short skirt.

Question: What’s your idea of a hot date with your mate? 

Axel: When the moon is full, we like to fly to secluded lakes or beaches. Locations where water meets the earth are power sources for witches, and with the full moon, the magic fills Darcy and there’s nothing more beautiful in the universe.

The second one is Sutton West, the hero from SOUL MAGIC (Book 2). Sutton is mated to Carla Fisk, and his tattoo is an eagle. In his story, they realized that all the mated hunters develop the ability to bring their wings out of their tattoo and fly. Question: What is your strongest first impression of your mate?

Sutton: When Carly hiked up a hill to find my cabin and ask for my help. Carly is a brilliant witch and psychologist, but she’s not an outdoorswoman. She wore jeans, a sleeveless shirt and her long white blond hair was tumbling out of a clip and sticking her to her sweaty face. In short, she looked a mess, but to me, she was beautiful, irresistible, and in extreme danger from me. I was too damn close to going rogue and killing her. I told her that.  But Carly was more than willing to risk it to help her dead twin sister’s soul find peace. That’s Carly, willing to risk her life for those she loves.

Question: Which do you prefer on your mate; tight jeans or short skirt?

Sutton: Both. Anything she wears looks sexy on her. 

Question: What’s your idea of a hot date with your mate? 

Sutton: we have a special place on the Astral Plane where Carly’s magic can takes us. It has leafy foliage, white and purple flowers, and a grassy area by a waterfall. Romantic and secluded, we go there to lose ourselves in one another.

The third one is Phoenix Torq, the hero from NIGHT MAGIC (Book 3). Phoenix is an ex bounty hunter, wears leathers, rides a motorcycle and gives off a strong I-don’t-care-if-I-die vibe. Question: What is your strongest first impression of your mate?  

Phoenix: I was hearing a voice singing in my head and I had to make it stop. I tracked the voice down, fearing the source might be a demon witch. Then I found Ailish, and the first thing she did was kick me and knock me on my ass. Ailish is a kickboxer and can fight! But I pinned her, noticing her long, sleek body and strong face. Then I saw the fine scars bracketing her silvery-blue eyes and I stopped breathing. Ailish was, and is, blind. 

Question: Which do you prefer on your mate; tight jeans or short skirt?  

Phoenix: Ailish is a jean’s girl, and her ass and legs do things for denim that should be illegal. She looks pretty damn hot straddling my bike in jeans.

Question: What’s your idea of a hot date with your mate?

Phoenix: Sparring with Ailish! She loves to fight, and she is very creative when she wants to win.

And last is KEY DEMICCA, the hero from SINFUL MAGIC (book 4). Key is an artist who fights a dark violence within himself and closely guards a lethal secret. His tattoo is a dragon, and he eventually develops the ability to call the wings and fly too. KEY

Question: What is your strongest first impression of your mate?  

Key: I was driven to draw on the wall of my hotel room, and stroke by stroke, line by line, Roxy was revealed to me. I had to search out this woman, but once I did, I discovered that was a fertility witch who wanted her magic to die so she could become mortal. And I was the one person that could release her magic. But it soon became evident that Roxy’s magic was the only way we could win against some destructive forces. And so one of my most compelling memories is when Roxy trusted me to draw her half-nude; it was the moment when Roxy stopped fighting her magic and embraced both her sensuality and her power. Drawing her that way was both achingly intimate and deeply sexy. 

Question: Which do you prefer on your mate; tight jeans or short skirt?  

Key: Short skirt and nothing else.  

Question: What’s your idea of a hot date with your mate?  

Key: Flying Roxy to our special place, which is the first place we made love, and watching her unfurl her sex magic. It never fails to bring me to my knees.
