Bite Before Christmas - Lynday Sands & Jeaniene Frost

With the Holidays just around the corner, “Bite Before Christmas” is a wonderful way to get things going and get you in the mood. The two novella read features two huge fan followed series, the Argeneau, and Night Huntress. Not wanting to give away too much, I highly recommend these two short stories while curled up and snuggling in your favorite robe or blanket on the couch with maybe some nice Christmas music playing in the background. Don’t forget a mug of “spiced” *heheee* eggnog even though you won’t need it. The read will make you feel warm and fuzzy all on its own.

The first one, “THE GIFT” by Lynsay Sands, tells us the story of a returning character, Teddy Brunswick, and his need to get away from everyone by renting a cabin to spend Christmas alone. Katricia Argeneau, was going through some difficult times and took her Aunt Marguerite up on the offer to use a cottage by the lake instead of forcing herself to spend Christmas with family and friends again. Little did Katricia or Teddy know, that a major snow storm would throw them together for basic survival until the roads are cleared and power restored. Oh yes, Marguerite always knows what she’s doing,... *wink*.

The second story, Jeaniene Frost’s, “Home for the Holidays” deals with demons and nasty spells that threaten to tear Cat and Bones apart forever. With Bones disowning Cat from his line, she has no alternative but to bargain with true evil and risk all to achieve getting back the only thing that matters,... the love of her life. Everything is on the edge to change the future and reach Bones, keeping his brother Wraith from becoming the Master of the line. In the end a secret is revealed about Bones and his past that changes everything when it comes to blood and family that you will never expect (and WOW, you could have knocked me over with a feather).
