Rune is a Gryphon and the First to Dragos the leader of the Wyr. Rune didn’t want to mate... he just saw one of his best friends go through it and give up everything for her... He didn’t want anyone to have that much power over him... But he still found himself in that position when he promises Carling one favor...Not sure if she would ask him to do one thing for thousands of years. But it was worth it to save Tango, once he goes to her... he sees shes not the same Queen that bargained that favor for a life with him... But a woman that has giving up on life and waiting to die. He wants to help her and even after she releases him from his favor he stays to help her find a cure to her vampire disease... When you reach a very old age as Carling is... your power start to slowly kill you and making you think you’re insane. Carling powers sends her back into the past to relive hurts... But when Rune learns he can go and change things for her... he does... which causes problems in the present time... Will they be able to fix the wrong they have caused and Find a cure for Carling before she dies which will take Rune with her if he mates with her?
