After reading this book, Lucan is one of my favorites. He knows what he is and he will do anything to get what he wants. As the former assassin for the Darkyn. Lucan has come to Florida to set up his own territory. But there is a killer going around who is trying to blame Lucan for it. Samantha is the cop investigating the murders. We see Michael and Alexandra and some other characters of the Darkyn. Michael and Lucan are not friends but Michael is the ruler over all the Kyn in the United States. I enjoyed the story of this book and I am excited to see what happens in the next book. Will Lucan and Michael end up fighting each other? Will Samantha find the killer or will it lead to Lucan?
