I was raised for battle. And as the first daughter of a warrior family, I've earned my reputation the hard way. Yet now I fight alongside uncivilized male Northland dragons who think a female is only good for breeding and waiting back home in the cave. But it's the foolish and foolhardy who would try to stop me, Rhona the Fearless, from doing what I do best - destroying the enemies of my kind. So the smartest thing wily barbarian Vigholf the Abhorrent can do for me is stay out of my way as we risk all on a deadly mission in enemy territory. I don't care if he's fascinated by me, even though he is as attractive as he is resourceful. He's having far too much fun putting me in difficult situations and testing my sense of duty to the limit. And I'm going to enjoy challenging his insufferable confidence, outwitting his schemes, and making him surrender in the wildest ways.
This is the story of Rhona and Vigholf. Rhona is a soldier in the army but her mother is wanting her to be a dragon warrior and lead the troops but Rhona does not want that. She enjoys making the weapons for the fighters like her father. Vigholf is Ragner's brother who just tells everyone what he thinks about them or the situation lol. This book was great and you see the other characters. They are at war with the Irons who are trying to take over everyone. I must say this book was very good and I enjoyed the plot. Rhona and Vigholf are great together. The story was also funny. I feel sorry for Eibheir but I hope he grows up when his book comes and hopefully soon lol. But the Talan, Talawyn, and Brien are one of a kind for sure and that is all I am telling you about them lol. I enjoy how the author has the main set of characters but you still get to see all the others ones. This is probably one of my fave series at the moment and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I liked this book, it wasn't as funny as some of her other stuff but it worked. This book didn't need that constant giggle factor.. Of course I missed it, always will. But still it worked..
