When Tyler Garahan said he’d do anything to save his family’s ranch, he never thought that would include taking a job as a stripper at a local ladies’ club. But the club’s fiery redheaded bookkeeper captures Tyler’s attention, and for her he’ll swallow his pride…
Emily Langley feels for the gorgeous cowboy. It’s obvious that he’s the real deal and wouldn’t be caught dead at a ladies’ revue if he wasn’t in big trouble. And when he looks at her like that, she’ll do anything to help.
Working days on the ranch and nights at the ladies’ club, Tyler would be plumb exhausted if he didn’t suddenly discover that the club is in the same boat as his ranch, and his beautiful boss needs him as much as he needs her…

I'm going to start my review by saying I'm a paranormal romance loving girl and have not read very many western romance novels but I honestly am going to make room in my TBR pile for more of these yummy books. I'm a true southern girl and really love cowboys- always have and always will (not a fan of rodeos but damn a good looking cowboy in jeans and a cowboy hat is something that I love).
Tyler and his two younger brothers live and run the Circle G ranch, a ranch that has been in their family for over 150 years, so when they get into financial trouble Tyler must take a job in town for extra money. Working all day on the ranch doesn't leave him much time so he needs something at night, applying for what he thinks is a manual labor job turns into a big surprise for him on two fronts- one the job is for a male stripper and two he meets the woman of his dreams. Tyler takes the job for the money and to get closer to Emily. Emily is part owner of the club and falls for him just about as fast as he falls for her. When danger ends up on Emily's doorstep Tyler is there to help her and her cousin. Keeping his job a secret from his brothers is harder than Tyler thought it would be with danger and long lost ex-girlfriends popping up everywhere. There's love, danger, hope, humor, romance and sex in this book plus three hot cowboy brothers- what more could a woman want??
Trust me when I say, read this book!! Hell read all of them, Dylan, Tyler's younger brother, has a book out too with Jesse, the youngest brother, book coming out in July 2012
My Rating: 4.5- Wendy

wow this is defiantly going on my TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, Wendy! Thanks so much for reviewing both books, loving them both and then posting reviews on your amazing blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI am honored to have tempted a paranormal lover over to sit as spell and read about some of the more misunderstood heroes...cowboys. Hardworking men, with strong hands who love the land, animals, and need a strong woman by their side...did I mention soft hearts? Yeah...get's 'em into trouble every time. :)
BTW, I love the way you're encouraging readers to give the book a try, "Hell read all of them".
Hey Kerry...sorry to have been so excited about the post that I missed your note.
ReplyDeleteThanks for including it on your TBR pile :) I'm honored!
Gotta get back to Apple Grove...deadline is looming.
