This novella takes place during Stay the Night. Will is given the task to rescue the stronghold. Reese is sent on a mission from her father to get something from Will. Reese loves Will, and she hates lying to him. Also we meet Sylas and his wife who have some impressive and dangerous talents of their own. This was a good story. The only thing I don't like is that the series is over and I feel the author could have told more especially with John and Luisa.
