Now, that same evil is back, and Elijah is all that stands between it and the destruction of all of humanity, but each step he takes drags him further back into the nightmare that once consumed him.
Elijah's only chance is Ana Matthews, whose sensual kisses and passionate fire thrust hope and light into his blackened heart and fragmented mind, but her deadly past could be the final trigger for his descent into irretrievable madness and the destruction of his soul…and humanity.
In book one, Elijah gave his life up to defend Ana, a woman he didn't know, and in doing that bonded with her. Ana was taken back after Elijah was killed and used to kill others. But the only death she kept replaying in her head was Elijah's, when she was finally saved by the Calydons and her sister Grace. She couldn't get him out of her mind and thought she was going crazy when she keep hearing him in her head. But she knew he was dead because she helped cause it with her illusions. In book two it was proven that Elijah had been revived and was being held prisoner and tortured with illusions, but Ana still found him. He was only sane as long as he touched Ana and they soon started to bond more. The maker of the Calydons, Ezekiel has been held for 2000 years in a cave and was freed. All he wanted was the family he lost when his good brother (Caleb) was forced to lock him away, and then killed. Elijah was a descend of Caleb and just like in the past, history began repeating itself. He wanted his new brother's Sheva and started to bond with her against her will. This book will clear up a lot of the history of this world and opens so many more doors for stories. I cant wait.
