Enraptured is book four of the The Eternal Guardians Series and Orpheus’s story. The series is about seven warriors who protect their realm and the Human realm from threats of the Underworld. Each of the guardians are descended from the seven strongest heroes in all of Greek mythology and each have their story to tell. Theron (book 1), Zander (book 2), Demetrius (book3), Orpheus (book4) Gryphon, Titus, Cerek, and Phineus.

Orpheus’s story. Orpheus is hell bent on saving his brother from the Underworld – at all costs. Along the way he is forced to deal with his own daemon, and guilt for his brother Gryphon, losing his soul. He has one goal only, and nothing else matter, well that is until Skyla, a captivating, sexy Siren turns his world upside down.
The Sirens are an elite group women soldiers who work directly for Zeus. Skyla is the oldest of the Sirens and has suffered greatly for them. She is sent by Zeus to find and beguile Orpheus, get the earth element and then kill Orpheus. Little does she know that when their paths do cross, she finds herself drawn to Orpheus, remembers a past life, and begins to question the Sirens true goals and Zeus himself.
Skyla and Orpheus are thrown together on a thrilling flight to protect a demigoddess, while each have their own planned agenda. As Orpheus and Skyla uncover things about themselves, and each other, it enhances this wonderful story full of action, tension, lust and sex. The banter between them is fresh, the attraction undeniable.
Enraptured was a good fast passed read. The world building is marvelously woven with attention to detail drawing the reader in and putting you in the mix. The sub plots from previous installments are pushed to the forefront with introductions of new characters and the continued growth of old favorites. The downside for me is that we seemed to lose “Orpheus” as he was in the first books. He went from being the unpredictable, “bad boy” who was there in a pinch, to being like the rest, sadly he lost his edge. Though with the events that have unfolded we are sure (hope hope) that he makes a come back when Gryphon's story is told in November.
