Absolutely LOVE this series, there are not enough ways for me to tell you how much I love this series. Ever had a series get to book 9 or 10 and they just get repetitive? Well this series is NOT like that, each book, even though most characters show up in each book, has never been old or stale or boring. This author could write the ABC's and I know she would make them exciting with a wicked story line to go with them.
We met Caine and Cassie both in previous books but Caine was not the nicest little Cur pup out there. He was on the wrong side of good and was always looking for a way to change into a full blooded Were instead of a Cur. Caine died protecting Cassie and was brought back as a Were and from that moment on he knew it was his job to protect her from everyone. Cassie is a prophet and everyone is out to get her to use her powers. Knowing that the demons will use her and lock her away, she does not dare turn to her sisters, Darcy, Harley, and Regan and their mates for fear they will turn on her also. Caine does everything, even giving up his humanity, to save Cassie and she is willing to give up her life to protect him. When they both accept the fact that they truly are Mates then the real fun begins.
