Let's just say these books just keep getting better. Elijah was forced into the revolting of the lycans in the last book. So he decides to become Alpha to take care of the other lycans. Vashti is second in command to Syre who is the leader of the vampires. Syre sends Vashti to make a truce with the lycans since they are no longer under the sentinels. Vashti has her own plan to deal with the lycans since they killed her mate. Elijah and Vashti have their problems with each other since both are strong leaders. But they are working together to find a way to get rid of the virus that is destroying the vampires. Will Elijah make Vashti see that he loves her? Will Vashti give Elijah a chance to love her and get over her past?
