BLURB: Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction… my every desire… mine.
My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful… except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.
We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession…

Shonna's Review - The hero of this story is a tortured victim of his uncontrollable childhood. The scars that Gideon Cross worked to expel, cling to his soul and harbor a piece of his true being that will never vanish. Sidestepping and proving his worth in the business world, he demands nothing less than total control over everything around him. Wealthy, extremely sexy, and a closed door of secrets, Gideon discovers no sacrifice is to much for the woman he is completely consumed by.
Eva Tramell is young, beautiful, and trying to find her way in the world while she carries a bag over her shoulder full of insecurities. The added addictive relationship with Gideon rips open this bundle of emotional weight to expose what is hidden to Gideon little by little. Moving forward with the man she loves proves to be a difficult task, one not even she is sure she can accomplish. With the ups and downs of this hot and cold passion comes a struggle to understand and not give up. Even with the odds stacked against her fragile state, Gideon forces the word “trust” to climb the bar to an even higher level.

When I finished the last word of REFLECTED IN YOU, I couldn’t move. I just sat there and looked at my kindle as if that would magically force more of the story to appear in front of my eyes. So many thoughts were frantically racing through my head wanting answers to the teasers left hanging for the future story yet to unfold. Realizing I was holding my breath, I inhaled a large gulp of air and headed for my keyboard to let everyone know, this Crossfire series is fantastic! This book literally takes you inside the characters head so you truly understand the turmoil of being hurt and loved. cherished and thrown away, denied and given. Thank you Sylvia Day, for a book that tops my all time favorite list. I am so looking forward to the next installment, ENTWINED WITH YOU, coming December 31, 2012
My Rating - 5

  2. I am yet to start this series, but I hear it is incredible. I hear it is better than 50 Shades which I actually enjoyed, so I am dying to read this. I love books that just leave you breathless. This sounds like a winner. Thank you for the awesome review hon :)
