1. It is easy to see through your work that you have a
great passion for it. What others things in your life do you have passion for?
In a word, CATS! J Rescuing cats and neonatal kitten care…bottle-feeding that
is.
2. What's your favorite word, least favorite?
Favorite word:
Douchebag. There’s just so many of them out there I find it necessary to use it
with great frequency. Least favorite? Euthanasia. Because it means we have
given up on the life in question, whether justifiably so or not.
3. What's a saying you say a lot?
Cats are my
preference over humans…you don’t see cats leaving cats on the side of the road
in a taped up box.
4. Favorite age you've been so far, and why?
It was my late
twenties, early thirties. I had a sex life back then! J
5. If you could be born into history as any famous
person who would it be and why?
I always say Laura Ingalls Wilder...because her entire life was an
adventure be it a good one or a bad one. And Queen Elizabeth I, she was a
tough-assed broad and she didn’t need a man or a marriage to do what was best
for her people…and she fought men who tried to marry her off tooth and nail. It
was extraordinary independence in an age where women were little more than
chattel.
6. If you were the opposite sex for one day, what
would you look like and what would you do?
Sorry, but I would NEVER want to be a man. Not even for a day.
That would skeeve me out, being trapped in a male body.
7. Do you have a secret talent and what is it?
I can pick up a lot of stuff with my toes. I think I’m part
orangutan.
8. What would be a question you’d be afraid to tell
the truth on?
What is your political view? (transfer political with religious
and it’s the same idea.)
9. You have the opportunity to sleep with the
movie-celebrity of your choice. Who would it be and why?
Henry Cavill….cuz he’s sooooo pretty.
10. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build
your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into
place?
No men allowed.
11. One night you wake up because you heard a noise.
You turn on the light to find that you are surrounded by MUMMIES. The mummies
aren't really doing anything, they're just standing around your bed. What do
you do?
Umm. Scream. They might be benign dead people, but they are still
DEAD PEOPLE!
12. Your house is on fire, holy shit! You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don't worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what's the one thing you're going to save from that blazing inferno and why?
12. Your house is on fire, holy shit! You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don't worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what's the one thing you're going to save from that blazing inferno and why?
Duh. My laptop! Because you all would just KILL me if I lost my
latest work in progress!
13. The Angel Of Death has descended upon you.
Fortunately, the Angel Of Death is pretty cool and in a good mood, and it
offers you a half-hour to do whatever you want before you bite it. Whatchya
gonna do in that half-hour?
Eat. I mean…EAT. All the really bad fattening stuff. And smoking
some doobage might work. Don’t have to worry about getting in trouble cuz, you
know, I’ll be dead in half an hour.
14. You can erase any horrible experience from
your past. What will it be? If you could live one over, what would it be?
There’s a lot in the erase category. The abuse I suffered as a
child is probably the main one.
15. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
15. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
It Wasn’t Easy.
16. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
16. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
Jeez. Umm…Emma Thompson. I just think she’s an amazing actress and
it would take a good one to portray the highs and lows of my life without
coming across like a drama queen.

From New York Times bestselling author Jacquelyn Frank comes this
first book in The World of the Nightwalkers—an exciting and sensual new
spin-off series in which the Bodywalkers, an ancient race of the night, battles
the evil forces who prey on them.
The unexpected happens in an instant. On her way
to work, secretary Docia Waverley hurtles into a crashing crossroads, and she
quickly begins to suspect that things will never be the same. Then, when a
tall, blond, muscular stranger intervenes on her behalf, telling her it is his
duty to protect her at all cost, what is just a feeling turns to proof
positive. That is, as long as Docia’s savior doesn’t turn out to be a crazed
kidnapper.
When Ram finds Docia, he has no doubt that she
is his queen. But as this golden warrior sweeps in to protect her, he feels
something more than body heat every time they touch. He is overwhelmed by a
searing connection that goes deep into the twin souls inside him. A desire
rises in him that is forbidden—this woman is his queen, the mate of his king,
his leader, his best friend. And yet Docia is so vulnerable and attractive that
she awakens a hunger in Ram that is undeniable, a carnal craving he cannot
yield to . . . not without risking the very survival of the Bodywalkers

exactly what Menes is looking for. To fight a great enemy, pharaoh and queen
