LT'S REVIEW: Tamara has finally got up enough nerve to escape her abusive life. She plans to set her boyfriend up to be caught during the robbery of a museum. He and his gang were using her because she was the only one small enough to fit in the vent. Her plans were to get into the museum, let him and his gang in, call the police and get out before they got there. But it took her longer than she thought, and her only escape route was a third story window that lead to the hard ground below. She still jumped!

Devin is drawn to a hurt woman, he feels her pain and fear. He also hears the commotion of the police and knows she was involved. His wolf’s need to protect her was too powerful to ignore, so he saves her by pulling her onto his back and running off into the forest. Devin has his own turmoil. He was forsaken by his father for being a bastard and left his pack, only to learn later that his father had changed his mind and wanted him to lead their pack. Devin had a feeling that Tamara was his true mate and knew her being a human would be one more hurdle for them to overcome.
