Join us today with a Q&A for SARA HUMPHREYS as we learn more about her work and the Fantastic AMOVEO SERIES she writes.

1. The first question we always like to start with is an author’s work. Tell us about THE AMOVEO LEGEND, Unleashed and Untouched.

The Amoveo Legend is about a secret society of dream walking, telepathic shapeshifters in search of their one true mate. The Amoveo are made up of 10 different animal clans and according to their legend, their pre-destined mate can only be another Amoveo but in UNLEASHED the hero discovers that's not true. It turns out that there are human/Amoveo hybrids hidden around the world and Malcolm Drew (a member of the Golden Eagle Clan) realizes that his mate is a hybrid but she has no idea! Samantha Logan's parents died when she was an infant and she was raised by her human grandmother. All of her Amoveo abilities were dormant, at least until Malcolm finds her and when he does everything starts to percolate.

UNTOUCHED is about two characters, Kerry and Dante, who we meet in UNLEASHED. Kerry is also a hybrid and although unaware of her Amoveo bloodline she knows that she's different. She has the gift of second sight and can read your secrets with one touch but it also brings blinding pain. Dante Coltari is Malcolm's cousin and a member of the Fox Clan. He's got to introduce Kerry to his world and try to protect her from the Amoveo Purists who want to wipe out the hybrids.

 2. Just released is the third installment for this series, Untamed, tell us about William and Layla.

William Fleury will be a familiar character to anyone who's read UNLEASHED or UNTOUCHED. He's a super uptight attorney and member of the Falcon Clan--he's a gyrfalcon. He does not believe in love and thinks it's a silly notion...at least until he meets Layla. She's a wild as he is uptight and the poor man is positively befuddled by her. Layla Nickelsen is a hybrid from the Cheetah Clan but unlike the other two heroines, she knows what she is. She's been living in fear that some Amoveo man would come along and drag her off without her consent. When the two of them get together...the sparks start to fly.

 3. In Unleashed we learn how the Caedo family come to hate Amoveo, but how did the Vasullus family begin to help and hide the clans?

Well....this may be something of a spoiler but in UNTOUCHED we find out that the Vasullus are actually Amoveo who've lost their mates or never found them at all. When an Amoveo's mate dies they start to lose their abilities and have to live and die like a human.

4. Will we be seeing more of Kerry’s cousin, Jacqueline in future books? Or how about Gunther?

Not as of now...but you never know. I do love Gunther. He's one of my favorites.

 5. Will we get to hear more about the upset between Dante and his sister Marianna?

A bit, yes. You'll actually meet her at the end of UNTAMED. Also, Marianna is the heroine in UNDONE (May 2013) and although she's a pure blood Amoveo, she finds out that her mate is human. Remember Pete Castro? Pete was Dante's driver and friend in UNTOUCHED and he's the hero in UNDONE.

  
6. Prince Richard is from the lion clan, but what clan is his mate Salinda from?

Salinda is from the Tiger Clan and serves on the Amoveo Council with her husband. You'll get to see more of them in the next three books.

  
7. With five books in all planned for this yummy series (which isn’t going to be enough ) would you tell us who is planned to be featured in the fourth book, UNDONE, and when we can expect it’s release? Is there any chance that this series could be extended to 6 or 7?

UNDONE features Marianna Coltari and Pete Castro. UNCLAIMED (December 2103) will feature Tatiana and Dominic, both of whom are introduced in UNTAMED. There will be one more novella, UNBOUND, and that will feature Steven's love story. UNDENIED, Boris and Lillian's story, is available now as a free download. Beyond that....we shall see.

 8. With 2013 just around the corner, you have a new series planned that I know our followers will want the scoop on. Tell us about DEAD IN THE CITY.

Sure! Dead in the City is my vampire series. It features a coven of vampire chicks who live and work in New York City. In this world, vampires live in secret and are governed by the Presidium. According to one of their oldest legends, some vampires have a bloodmate and if they bond with this mate then both become day walkers--vampires who can walk in the sun. Tall, Dark, and Vampire is the first book in the series and features Olivia Hollingsworth, the head of the coven, and Doug Paxton, a NYPD homicide detective who bears a striking resemblance to her one true love from her human life over three centuries ago. Readers will meet Olivia in UNDONE )AL #4) which is a crossover book between the two series and worlds.

 9. You also have a YA series in the works, called, DAUGHTERS OF HEAVEN AND HELL. Would you tell us a little about these books too?

This series is going to be my self-publishing effort and it will be serialized as opposed to written as full length novels. The Castrov sisters are the teen daughters of a demon and an angel. Their parents live as mortals but work as Peacekeepers on earth (they keep the supernatural entities in their district under control) and the girls seemed normal until puberty hit. Bit by bit their powers begin to emerge but the girls just want to be normal and go to high school. However, when the vampire and werewolf war rolls into their quiet Connecticut town, all bets are off and the girls are tasked with being Peacekeepers alongside their parents.

The tag line is...."The Castrov sisters are half angel and half demon but aren't we all just a little bit of both?"

 10. What question have you always wanted to be asked in an interview? (and please tell us the answer)
