William Fleury is as stoic as they come, until he finds Layla and his feelings overwhelm him. She won't let him get close, but then an unknown enemy erupts in violence and threatens everything Layla holds dear...

Shonna's Review:  A half human half Amoveo, red-headed Layla Nickelsen is drawn back to home needing the contentment of feeling safe from the outside world. Knowing that he has found her, Layla tries to hide from the Amoveo mate that calls to her in her dreams. Running from what she will not admit is fate, she stands firm to be independent and in control of her life and her heart. Fearing her hybrid secrets will be revealed Layla learns that what she believes, is not the truth about her past and her heritage.
Pretentious attorney, William Fleury clearly portrays an unfeeling, hoity-toity alpha that has earned the nickname Iceman. That is until he found his mate. Like hitting a brick wall, William’s whole personality is twisted into understanding the true feelings of love as it intertwines around his heart. With patience and much confusion he leaves his comfort zone and embarks on showing the one meant for him, that he truly loves her.

There are so many good things I could say about this book, so I will just tell you my favorite one,....ALL OF IT!!! Yep, it is awesome! I have been a fan of this series since the beginning. With each installment, it just keeps getting better and better. I have been so looking forward to reading William’s story and Ms. Humphreys did not disappointment me in the least. I honestly tried to read it slowly to make it last, but didn’t succeed at all. Once I entered the Amoveo world, I couldn’t put it down.
My Rating: 5
