BLURB: I am everything forbidden. I am vampire.
Haunted by betrayal, Saint hides in the human world, giving his heart to no one and finding the only solace from his past in the arms of human women. Now as the Archons begin their takeover of the vampire world, this Son of Navarus has been marked for death. Summoned to defeat the Archons by the world that shunned him, Saint must face his past and Solenne, the woman he loved and lost a century ago, for only in accepting her will his body and soul finally find salvation.
The Sons of Navarus is a dark urban fantasy series in which each book builds on previous books, so none are stand alone. While some couples do have happy endings in their books, not all will by the end.

WENDY’S REVIEW:  This book starts off right where the first one left off and let me tell you I was a little confused at the end of book one with Sasa not feeling Vasilije, her sire, any longer. We learn what that feeling was about and I feel a lot better now. Saint is a vampire who was sent to live away from the vampires he sired by the Archons, who are almost like a governing body for all vampires. For ten long years he lives with humans and for even longer than that he only had sex with humans. Sex and feeding usually go hand and hand with these vampires but because of a betrayal almost one hundred years ago he vowed to never sleep with a female vampire ever again. He is called Saint by all vampires because of his refusal to sleep with female vampires. When he was still known as Declan, he fell in love with a female vampire, Solenne, who happened to be his brothers vampire. Teagan, a vampire belonging to Vasilije, is Declan's brother. They were both turned on the same day but by different sires. Declan's sire only took care of him long enough to show him how to be a vampire on his own, unlike his brother's sire, who kept him around for hundreds of years. We learned in book one that Teagan was killed in New Orleans but as this story unfolds we learn the true story of what really happened to him. Teagan took the skills he learned from his sire and kept his vampires close but only used them when he needed them. Solenne and Declan were in love but with backstabbing and vampire compulsion they were forced apart. Now with Saint in danger, Solenne steps in to reclaim her heart that was given away long ago to the vampire she has always loved.
There are a few short stories that I think should be read with this series- there is a prequel that explains a little more about Vasilije and some others. A reading order list is on the authors's website listed above.
