Shonna's review: Despite the years, Mira still carries around the pain of the one male breed that took her love with his death. The grief that claws at her continually rips holes in her heart that never heal, while continually pounding the knowledge that she will never again hold him in her arms. Letting sorrow cloud her judgment she is pulled from her squad to escort a human scientist to the upcoming peace conference. My thoughts:
Loving the MIDNIGHT BREED SERIES, I was very anxious to see where the next installment would lead us and what direction the very talented, Lara Adrian planned to take us. Without a doubt, she did NOT disappoint! This jump is a fantastic transition that smoothly glides forward with a wide open field of new adventures in front of us yet to be seen. With so many new open doors brought to us in EDGE OF DAWN, I am extremely excited to continue on with many more reads to come. The so very realistic characters and a passionate, tears blurring your eyes love story of betrayal that Adrian delivers while mingling action, kick-ass dangerous situations have your knuckles turning white as you grip your book.

“You stayed,” he murmured, mouth moving over the side of her neck, where her pulse throbbed in time with his.
Her softly whispered answer sifted into his hair where her lips rested against the top of his head. “You didn’t let go.”
I get goose-bumps just thinking about some of my favorite parts,.... and
no, I’m not telling.
I don’t want to spoil one moment of this amazing tale that Adrian has given
us. This is a MUST READ NOW that will harness all of your waking moments
until you know how it ends.
