WENDY’S REVIEW: It did not take me long to get into this book, once T.T.B. was introduced I was hooked. Miranda thinks she is a human, even though she knows she's not, she's in denial. Being part Incubus and part vampire, she is not even close to being human but she also has not been Blooded. Blooded is when she has sex and also feeds her incubus half. Her father wanted her to have sex in front of his coven of vampires when she was a teenager but she refused. She thought she had things under control until she killed a human and with that death she ran away. For years she has been living on her own while having sex with random vampires to feed them and feed her Hunger. Her Hunger is what she calls her incubus half.  All these years she thought she was doing the right thing but it turns out she did not have as much control as she thought she did. Now others are after her for her powers and that is where Daniel comes in. He is a Guardian sent by the Vampire Council to protect her and to bring her to them alive. They believe she is a Chosen Childe that will bring fertility back to all vampires. But the Council vampires are not the only beings after Miranda, Adrian, who considers himself her betrothed and her King will stop at nothing to get her.  She is also being used and ordered around by a goddess but when Miranda decides that she is tired of being used and she only wants Daniel in her life, they perform the Blooding ritual. To protect and help Miranda, Daniel brings in his friend Gregory to help with the ceremony. Gregory is a Guardian like Daniel. This is where things get good and interesting!
Ok, I could keep talking about this book but I'm not because I don't want to spoil the story for you.
