LT’S REVIEW: Kane wakes up scarred on every inch of his body with no memory of over 500 hundred years ago. The now dead leader of the Order of the Blade took him in and made him a warrior. So for all this time he has fought for the innocent, but never really felt any emotions. Kane walks around shirtless everywhere he goes in hopes someone can tell him about the carvings in his skin.
Calydon is a race of people who were tainted with demon blood. When they go through the change into adulthood, they have a dream that will either show them their real power or kill them. They are also not allowed real love because if they find their mate it is said they will go mad and they will destroy each other. But lately that has changed, and some of the Order has been able to keep their mates compared to a time in the past when they always killed the mates because they couldn’t spare the warriors they needed to fight the rogue Calydon’s.
Sarah’s an angel on earth. She tries to have a normal life until her husband changes and kills their child and then goes for her. After she was forced to kill him, Sarah starts spending her life trying to figure out how to save her brother who has now changed also. Yet, without the help of the Order she will never be safe enough to find the cause. The one person who makes her feel the safest is also the person who may turn on her because she believes the carving on his body are what keep the evil he once was from escaping. But the closer they get, his scars are replaced with smooth skin.
