WENDY’S REVIEW: Yes, you might have heard that this series is like Fifty Shades of Grey or even the Crossfire series and I do admit that they are similar with the dominating man and submissive female but to me this is where that similarity ends. Ethan is a man who knows what he wants and gets what he wants. What he wants more than anything in life is Brynne beside him during the day and under him at night. Lies and secrets keep them from opening up completely to each other. The past is always there for her even when she tries to start a new life in London. We know Ethan has secrets but we don't fully get into them in this book, actually we don't get into Brynne's secrets and past life, but we do get quick glances. Trust is a big deal for her, either you have her trust or you don't, there is no middle ground for Brynne.
Ethan opens his heart to her and is very affectionate and loving towards Brynne at all times but he can still be overwhelming and domineering with every aspect of her life. Where he sees himself protecting her, Brynne sees him as overprotecting and all consuming of her life. 
What I really liked with this story was of course the sex but how Ethan says exactly what he wants, any time he wants and he has no problem using the word Fuck in any sentence... I love that, lol I DO that too. His dirty mouth is part of him and his life, being that past in the military or the present in his security job. He is expressive with his feelings, not always so forthcoming with them at the right time but when he does express them, everyone knows he means them.   Purple is the best color...read the book!
