Wendy- Aidan Thanks for joining us today. I'm definitely not a reporter so I will try my best to keep it simple. (Waves Hello to Maggie, who is sitting in the background with her arms full) I have a few questions for you today so let’s get started.
Q. Now that things have settled down can you tell us what was going through your head when Maggie first walked into the barn and also when you followed her out of the barn?
When Maggie first walked into my barn, it was like getting struck. I was incredibly angry at her audacity and more than a little mad at myself because I was excited to see her. I’m still not sure why I followed her out. [laughs] I remember thinking I should let her go, but I found myself striding out after her rationalizing that I’d apologize for being rude, make sure she got in her car and left. It didn’t quite work out that way.
Q. Maggie pointed out that you only have mares on the ranch, thinking of making any changes and getting a few stud horses?
I’m in the process of negotiating the purchase of a stud currently. We’re considering breeding Jezebel.
Q. Has Maggie told you Sly’s given name yet?
[laughs again] No, she won’t budge on that. The Rock Star’s word is solid.
Q. You have great taste in music; can you tell us some of your favorite artists?
Sure. Maggie must be rolling her eyes back there. My go-to favorites right now are Johnny Cash, Tim McGraw, Patsy Cline, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum.
Q. Did you know the town gossips all thought you were gay and do you have anything to say about that?
I had no idea and no opinion really. They thought I was CIA once too.
Q. We all understand the need for you keeping to yourself over the years but do you have any regrets about how things turned out?
Not a single regret, Wendy. I had my reasons for my solitude, which you know; but now I think deep down I was waiting for my soul mate, waiting for my Maggie. (aawwww is he not the sweetest?...Wendy)
Q. Though it was never said out loud do you think admitting the truth about your feelings for Maggie is what changed everything for you and Gealach?
I do. I think taking the leap of faith necessary to accept my feelings for her and hers for me is what changed everything. I had to believe in us.
Q. Would you have let Maggie leave you after Tala was born if the curse had not been broken?
I’d have thought I could, told myself I would, but no. [laughs] I couldn’t even let Maggie walk out of the barn that day without following her.
Q. Did Maggie ever tell you about the Native American woman in the store and the statue? What do you think what she said means? Do you think she saw something inside of Maggie that was connected to your wolf?
She did, yes. That little statue is very important to Maggie. That woman saw or sensed something connected to us. Maggie’s been doing a lot of research about the history of her family; we think it might be connected that way. All we have is speculation.
Q. Last one for today, Tala loves her little wolf, do you think it is connected to everything else around you and Maggie?
No but yes. I don’t think the stuffed animal itself has any mystical properties or connection to the magic surrounding Maggie and I, but I think Tala’s instinct that “a wolf” would comfort and protect her is significant.
Now Aidan, I’m just going to throw this out there to you, I wanted to give you a little advice. LOL BUY the cabin from your neighbors, redo it or at least refurnish it and make it a getaway for you and Maggie. (it’s close enough to home so you are close to Tala but far enough away for some privacy) Have Sly or one of the town’s people watch Tala and have a night away, just the two of you.
Thank you for joining me today and I really appreciate you taking time away from your work to answer a few questions for me, I promise all your answers will not end up in a rag tabloid paper- haha.
It’s funny you should say that, Wendy. Mags has been bugging me to buy that hunk of land from the Blacks and turn the cabin into a guest cottage. Thanks for having me, it’s been a real pleasure.

BLURB: Investigative journalist Maggie O’Connell went from hard hitting exposés to alien abductions in the blink of an eye, but she did it with style. Her next big lead takes her to northern Minnesota hot on the trail of a werewolf and straight into the arms of Aidan Gael, a horse rancher with way more secrets than he has friends. Maggie may get the story but the man who shares the wolf’s compelling green eyes may end up with her heart - provided they can keep each other alive.
WENDY'S REVIEW: I devoured this book, could not get enough of Aidan or Maggie. I adored Aidan from the beginning, lol the fact that since he does not date the local women from his small town (they all think he is gay) just cracked me up. Gay is not what he is, a big, sexy grey werewolf is what Aidan is and to keep from letting people know his secret he keeps to himself. LOL, well he tried to keep to himself until Maggie, a report with a rag magazine that rolls into town looking for a story on the huge wolf that has been spotted a few times. I really liked how in your face Maggie is, she thinks something, she speaks it. She certainly put Aidan in his place and time or two. Oh and a plus to the author, Maggie is not a stick thin little thing running around, she has curves and she wears kick ass concert t-shirts. The music mentioned throughout the book just adds to this wonderful love story, I love that Aidan likes his country music.
Once Aidan realizes that Maggie is there to stay and understands his wolf too, he falls for her completely but can not express it due to the danger he thinks he is putting her in by being a werewolf. Aidan was not born a werewolf but was cursed by a Native American witch like woman. Maggie knows she loves him and tells him, she knows in her heart it will work between the three of them (her, Aidan & his wolf). With hunters, past lovers and wild animals showing up, Aidan has a lot to protect Maggie from, but Maggie also turns it around and protects him and his heart. My Rating: 5

When I was little I thought everyone had stories in their
head. I didn’t find out that wasn’t the case until kindergarten. I remember
thinking that was sad; and that I should share the ones I had. I asked my
teacher for help. I had her cut, fold and staple the paper into a suspiciously
book-like shape. Then I drew the cover art and illustrated the interior pages.
Finally, and most importantly, I dictated the text. And violà … a writer was
born.
It took thirty years for me to get from that first attempt
to being a published author. I think the road thus far has added some depth and
experience to my writing. At the very least I learned I shouldn’t ever do my
ownillustrations.
A city girl, born and bred, I tend to place my stories in
and around southeast Pennsylvania, or at least have a character or two from the
area. Home is where the heart is and I make mine with my very own knight in
slightly tarnished armor, three beautiful daughters ranging in ages from
college through pre-school, and a grandson who arrived on my birthday last
year. When I’m not busy living my own happily ever after, I’m writing about
someone else’s.
I’d love to have you visit with me on my blog; at Facebook and
Twitter; on my Goodreads and Amazon author pages; or write to me directly at beckyfladeauthor@gmail.com.
