BLURB: The fight continues in the Wildlands. Facing extinction, the Pantera have been given a miracle. A child. The first one in over fifty years. But even as they prepare to celebrate, the enemy strikes, putting at risk the fragile female who carries the hope of their people.

BAYON  Charming, drop-dead gorgeous Hunter Bayon is thirsting for revenge on the enemies who slipped into the Wildlands and attacked Ashe and her vulnerable child. Pledging to track down the cowards, Bayon goes on the hunt, pursuing the humans to a nearby town. But searching their shabby hideaway, he makes a discovery that shocks him to his very soul and might very well destroy the heart of the Pantera.

JEAN-BAPTISTE  Tattooed and pierced, sexy Nurturer Jean-Baptiste has been living in utter isolation. His cat is out of control, and the only thing that soothes the beast is a rare mineral he keeps inking into his skin. Until he meets her: Genevieve Burel. The beautiful and buttoned-up female puma is unlike anyone he’s ever met. She makes his cat purr, and he knows he must possess her, mate with her. But the secret she's keeping might threaten not only their unbridled passion for one another, but the very future of the Pantera race.

Wendy's Review: There's not much more I can say about this series except it's absolutely awesome, I mean come on, you have to of the best paranormal romance authors out there combining their talents and putting out these fantastic stories.

Bayon knew who his mate was but she never really accepted him since he was under her command, plus she thought he would think she was too much for him to handle. When she disappeared he never thought she was dead and always held out hope that she would return. Fighting for revenge against the human hunters, Bayon discovers Kierra in a cage with a metal collar around her neck. He knows the collar has kept her from shifting and knows that to help her get well he needs to return her to the Wildlands to shift. Once back home they both realize that they are meant to be together but before their lives can begin they need to find her brother,  Parish, who is Bayon's best friend and let him know his sister is still alive.

Jean-Baptiste- now this has to be my favorite character name...ever, not sure if it's the Louisiana girl in me or what, but I love it.  Jean-Babptisite knows he is loosing control of his cat and is doing everything he can to stay away from the other Pantera so they don't notice. When he is called to duty to go into New Orleans to find help, he thinks he will be going alone until he hears that he is being sent with Genevieve. This does not make him happy at all. He's heard rumors about the uptight little Pantera, so keeping his distance and his cat under control will definitely be a full time job for him. When she calls him Mr. Baptiste it cracks me up, she doesn't have a clue that's not his last name. It's also sexy how he calls her Ms. Burel every where but the bedroom.  Rawrrr this series is so good
My Rating: 4.5 to 5
