   How is The Charmed Trilogy Different from Other Paranormal Romances?

First off I would like to thank Vampires, Werewolves and Fairies, Oh My, for having me here today to talk about my recently completed Charmed Trilogy.

Paranormal is such a great genre to play in, and nowadays it can be very difficult to write a story that is completely unto itself, original. With that said, I believe what makes this trilogy different is that our Hero and Heroine, Caleb and Olivia, are put through the ringer right out of the gate in The Charmed, and it binds them together in a short period of time. Some may think of this as insta-love, but what the trilogy asks as a whole is whether or not the feelings these two have for one another can be sustained over time and a very difficult road. They are tested many times over, unbelievably so at times. Are they willing to fight through the obstacles and forces that are trying to keep them apart?

This story, even though it’s set in the supernatural world of heightened powers and strength, will be very personal, I think, for a lot of people. As an author I purposely chose to isolate Caleb and Olivia at the beginning of the first book in a setting that feels remote and shut away, never letting the enormity of the supernatural world overwhelm their initial connection. I did this because, first and foremost, I wanted the reader to walk away from the series feeling as if they’ve been on an emotional roller coaster right along with these two people. The heightened gifts, senses and danger you get from choosing to set them in a paranormal world were simply a bonus! 

I hope you will check out my Charmed Trilogy and see if you agree that the end result is an incredibly action-packed, romantic journey that I hope you romance readers will love.

The Charmed Trilogy, Book 1
