But instead of a vulnerable caravan, Erion is met by a feral band of female demons that includes Hellen, the bride—a creature of dark magic and darker passion.
Though the safety of his son is foremost, Erion can’t deny his unexpected connection to Hellen—inflaming a manic desire as primal as it is irresistible. As their bond intensifies, they move toward an inevitable and terrifying battle. With time running out, Erion realizes he must not only find and rescue his son but protect Hellen from Cruen and the underworld forces waiting to destroy her for her betrayal.

LT'S REVIEW: Erion found out not so long ago, that he is the twin brother to one of the famous Roman Brothers, sons of the Breeding male. Nicholas, his twin, was raised by his mother while Erion was thrown away due to him being different. Now the monster that raised and experimented on Erion has kidnapped his son he gave to Nicholas and his mate to raise because he didn’t think he could be a father.  He feels he owes the child to find him though. He learns that Cruen is to marry soon and he decides to kidnap the bride to trade for his son. He then discovers that the bride-to-be is the devil’s daughter. Cruen has struck a deal with the Devil, he has been living off his blood and that’s where all his power comes from. Now the Devil wants payback. He wants Cruen to mate with his oldest daughter so she can give birth to a child born to both the above ground and underworld. In doing this, the devil may use the child’s blood to walk above without limitations.
Hellen, the bride-to-be, doesn’t want to marry a blood sucker. But she will do what she has to do to keep the promise she made to her dying mother and that was to protect her younger sisters from the fate she is now facing. When she is kidnapped, she knows she will do anything to escape so she can save her sisters from her father, the Devil. But can her father be trusted to keep his word? Uh, duh.. he is the Devil. So that would be a big fat No. Now, when she learns that her father has taken Erion's son she must make more sacrifices to save everyone and right the wrongs.
