Absolutely LOVED this first book in this series, I usually stay away from time traveling books because to me you have to stick with so many rules or it changes the whole story trying to keep track of everything, but this one was fantastic. The author writes such great characters that when they travel back in time their lives are just as exciting as their present day lives plus they know they have traveled back most of the time. They are thinking with their present day selves but remembering the time they jumped back too.
Taylor is a young woman who has spent the past 7 years researching a poet that no one else has really ever heard of, but she knows in her gut that the man was real. Getting fired from her job she is heading into her apartment when she hears death metal music coming from the apartment next door, she recognizes the lyrics of the song. They belong to the poet she has been researching. She talks her neighbor in to introducing her to the band, but during the show the lead singer kisses her and they are both taken back in time to a part of his past life. It happens so quickly that neither know what to make of it. Taylor is then pulled backstage to meet Brody, the lead singer, where she also meets Veris, Brody's boyfriend. Taylor is shocked to see Veris because he had been to her job to discuss the poet before she was fired. When Brody asks Taylor to kiss Veris too she doesn't really hesitate and they are both taken back to somewhere in his past life. Taylor soon learns that both men are vampires and are bonded together.
I have to stop here and say- Read the Book! if you want to learn more. I know not everyone is a fan of M/M love or even MMF menage books but this one is worth the read. I am definitely looking forward to the second book.
