I..AM..DYING... Henrik knows he is dying and has told his warriors but his younger brother, Jacob, does not want to hear it. Henrik is supposed to be immortal, how can he die from an unknown disease? For years he has been drinking from the females his kind needs to survive but nothing is helping him. Keeping up with his duties he goes to the village to hunt for the bad vampires but what he finds can change his life forever.
Kaira, a young woman with a passion for photography, who is also sick from a blood disorder, has traveled to the same small village to have her photographs of Aurora Borealis, displayed in an art show. Leaving the art show she is attacked by vampires only to be saved by the handsome man she was talking to during the show. Once Henrik rescues her he knows he can not let her go, tasting her blood has given him more strength than any other blood in his many years as a vampire. With feelings ranging from fear to lust, Kaira doesn't know what to do but she does know that whatever decision she makes her life will never be the same.
