MEN OF BRAHM HILL SERIES

My! for letting me stop by today to talk about my newest paranormal
release, Someone Else’s Skye. This is
the first book in my Men of Brahm Hill series and it begins where The Charmed
Trilogy ended—with the violent supernatural battle between humans, hybrids and
a whole host of supernatural baddies and goodies.
So what can the reader
expect? A paranormal rollercoaster, filled with romance and danger.
I have been asked what inspired me to write five romance
novels that center around the premise of one violent battle scene. The answer
is loss. Loss is something that
mutually affects us all, and the paranormal world I’ve created in Men of Brahm
Hill is not immune to that. The five heroes in these books all lose someone
they care deeply about that night. This series looks at how each man deals with
those losses and how circumstances lead them to love with five mysterious and equally
fascinating women.
First up in Someone
Else’s Skye is Kane, a rare, Natural Shape-shifter who thinks he has
everything figured out. He’s a lover of life, women and excess . . . and did I mention women? For Kane, every
bad day can be swiftly set to right by a sarcastic quip off the tongue and a
warm, female body beneath him at night. The world is as it should be . . .
until one perplexing woman gets him tangled up in a hot mess with a
Lycan-killing baddie in the freezing tundra of the Northwest Territories. Skye is one complication in Kane’s rather
uncomplicated world that he did not see coming.

I fell in love with Kane in the Charmed Trilogy, he was such a player but you could see the underlining need to be loved. He is the love 'em & leave 'em type but never puts his heart out there. Kane is a shifter, a jaguar shifter, who works with the Brethren who are a large group of people that are trying to protect the world from evil. During the battle at the end of the Charmed Trilogy, Kane is on the battleground and sees a beautiful woman appear. He knows she is not really there and is shocked to find the real life version of her when he is sent on a mission to find a creature killing anything that is in it's path. Skye knows she is different, she and all of her sisters are special and with her father's help she is sent on jobs to protect the world. When old lies and half truths come out Skye and Kane learn they are more than two people who are starting to fall in love.

About the Author: Christine is
a graduate of Washington State University where she received a BA in Interior
Design. And true to form of using mostly her ‘right brain’,
she splits her time between her commercial design career and her imaginary
world of writing. She lives in the scenic Pacific Northwest where she
enjoys hiking, camping and photographing many of the wonderful places that
served as inspiration for her Charmed Trilogy. Her biggest reward in life
is any given day when one of her books connects with a reader because she
herself is such a lover of reading. Some of her favorite authors
include Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, and Kimberly Derting.
