Shonna's review:  Julia Fairchild is a hard working multi-task kind of gal. She not only is a sports journalist in Atlanta, she flips houses with her younger brother and now has her second book done and on it’s way to being a success. Family and friends are extremely important to her and she’s not the type that likes to be in the spotlight. For years she has never forgotten the spark she felt around that one guy. Yet knowing she didn’t want to just be another notch in his belt, she always turned him down and now, always wonders just what would have happened if she had said yes and had dinner with him.
Trevor Wyatt, a former NFL player for the New York Wolves, harbors a secret that changed the course of his entire life. Trust is something he keeps at arms length now, and privacy is very important to him. Dealing with a large burden in his heart, and trying to continue on isn’t easy at times. Yet through it all he never dismissed his memories of being around her so long ago, or how he knew she was something special to be cherished.
A contemporary romance, ASK FOR IT is an enjoyable story. Not only are the two main characters delightful and very believable, but without a doubt several of the sub-characters  were very entertaining and could step up to the plate with there own story to be told. I liked Selena’s writing style and how the story smoothly included several aspects of Julia’s life so the reader can complete the whole picture as to who she really is as a person.
