First of all thanks for having me here on your beautiful blog. I was thinking about what I wanted to talk about and decided that why not speak about my love for romance books that reflect my life.
What do I mean by that? I love romances that show people of all colors but I most definitely love a romance that will show a female character that looks like me. My parents were military so it was common for me to see people of different races and backgrounds loving one another. It made such an impression on my life and with the fact that my mother and father were very open about us kids loving others and not disliking someone cause of something as silly as skin color was also the hugest factor. Thanks mom and dad. I am a black female who happens to have biracial children. I remember being a child and wanting the romances or any of the books that I read to reflect what I looked like, how I lived my life and who I loved.
This is the reason I love to read and to write Interracial Romances. I for one think there is so much beauty to be found in different cultures so when you it’s meshed with romance it can be an extraordinary read.
My Once Upon A Dream series from Evernight Publishing is a blend of sexy
contemporary and paranormal with BDSM in which I try to incorporate different blends of people together. There are a total of five stories with number six in the works. Each of the stories can be read separately and out of order but I like to let the reader know that characters from the each story come through to the next and find their happily ever after.
Thank you for listening to me rant about why I love to write Interracial romances. In each story I write I want my readers to come away with the feeling that truly Love is color blind.

DeleteIf you had the chance to go to a BDSM club, would you?
