I truly adore this series. I think even though they both have demons from their past, being together does nothing but strengthens not only them personally, but as a couple too. Evil from Nikki's past creeps into their world threatening to push her back to her dangerous self destructive ways. When the stress of the wedding and Nikki's mother get to be too much for Nikki to handle, Damien comes in and takes care of it all.
I was disappointed when I heard that this was an epilogue and we were at the end of Damien and Nikki's story, but it turns out that his was a short novella with more books to come from these two. I for one am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Kenner takes all of us next.
