Tess is very sure of her life and her job. Kill the bad guys to save the good guys. That’s until she is talked into a blind date with a Wolfen. Her job is to eliminate Veilers, things that can shift. She has been searching for the Wolfen that killed her boyfriend for 5 years, believing them all evil. Then she meets her blind date and has an unnatural pull to him unlike any she’s ever felt. Almost making her forget her job.
Hugh is the head of the Wolfen pack, but he's ready to give the job over to his pack mate Trey, but he's missing. So what better way to try to find information about him. Go on his set up blind date and see if the woman has any idea. Seems like a good plan until he quickly learns, but wants to fight, the knowledge that Tess is his mate.
They team up to help each other find the person they are each looking for, but on the way will they be able to find each and live to tell about it?
