BLURB: With her blue-black hair and striking green eyes, Cailin Jamenson is the epitome of beauty and the exemplar of strength. She has fought the enforced boundaries of being the lone Jamenson daughter and Redwood Pack princess, but it is the potential future with the dark wolf in her path that threatens everything she thought she desired.Logan Anderson’s own darkness provided the reasoning for his abandonment of his former Pack, the Talons. Now, newly accepted into the Redwood Pack, this jade-eyed wolf and all she represents could be his own undoing.
In this final installment of the Redwood Pack, unimaginable tragedy strikes, and the two wolves who have fought the longest for their independence now face the uncertainty of fate and the epic battle that could end the war… and their lives.

Even though this is the last book in the series, there will be a few more novellas following up on the Redwood pack and their mates. Not sure how to begin with this review, I really enjoyed the book once I got past all the crying I did in the first chapter. I can completely understand and see why the author did what she did, it needed to be done for the story to continue and grow.
Cailin, the Redwood pack princess and only female out of all the Jamenson kids knew who her mate was but refused to acknowledge him until a horrible tragedy occurred that pulled them together. Knowing she needed Logan but not wanting to submit, Cailin was tore between what she needed to do. Going to him for comfort she never realized he would welcome her with open arms. Logan, a new member to the Redwood pack and brother in law to one of Cailin's brothers, knew from day one that she was his mate. He also knew that his wolf would welcome her in any way he could get her. Neither Logan nor his inner wolf wanted to ever dominate Cailin or her wolf, but she needed to see that for herself. Once they do finally come together they are in the fight until the end and their main goal is to kill the demon who is responsible for all the tragedy that has fallen on the Redwood pack. Working together can they send the devil back to Hell??
I hate to see the series come to an end but I am looking forward to the spin-off series from the Talon pack.
