Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed—after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto—if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try?
And he wants to try Tate Morrison.
Just coming out of a four-year marriage with an ex-wife from hell, a relationship is the last thing on Tate’s mind. He’s starting fresh and trying to get back on his feet with a new job at an upscale bar in downtown Chicago.
The only problem is, Tate has caught the unwavering and unwelcome attention of Mr. Logan Mitchell – a regular at the bar and a man who always gets what he wants.
Night after night Tate fends off the persistent advances of the undeniably charismatic man, but after an explosive moment in the bar, all bets are off as he finds his body stirring with a different desire than his mind.
As arrogance, stubbornness and sexual tension sizzles between the two, it threatens to change the very course of their lives.
Logan doesn’t do relationships. Tate doesn’t do men. But what would happen if they both just gave in and…tried?

If you don't like a love story about two men then stop reading now.
I first heard about this book on Fb from a fellow blogger who always has great recommendations and believe me she did not exaggerate about this one.
We start off with Logan going to a bar after work and seeing Tate for the first time. Logan is bi-sexual, honestly he will screw anybody that is willing and he finds attractive. Not too many men or women tell him no. He zones in on Tate from the moment he gets to the bar but Tate wants nothing to do with the arrogant man except to fill his drink order. Tate, is a straight man coming out of a bad marriage and going through a nasty divorce. The last thing he wants right now is a relationship especially with a man. Logan's dirty mouth and even dirtier mind will not take no for an answer so he makes sure he is at the bar every time Tate is working. Logan thinks of Tate as a one time sexual conquest but little does his heart feel the same way.
Being around the sexy as hell Logan is wearing Tate down but in his mind he is a straight man who cannot understand why he is so drawn to the other man.
Things escalate to more than Tate thinks he wants but not nearly enough of what Logan wants. Logan gets Tate to open up and try new things but family and a soon to be ex-wife makes Tate rethink everything about himself and Logan.
Personally I have absolutely NO problem with two men being together, shit I could care less who is with who. What I do care about is when people judge other people about who someone loves and chooses to have sex with. Unless I am in your bed or you are in mine and we are consenting adults, then it should not matter who is fucking who. Love is love, happiness is happiness and if you can get either from the person who makes your life complete then I say- Be happy and live YOUR life any way you want too. Religion has no place in the bedroom or a relationship between two hearts.

Some of my favorite quotes from TRY by Ella Frank:
“So...what's your truth, Logan?'Logan stared at him so intently that Tate wondered what was going on inside his head before he replied,'I think you are,' leaving Tate speechless.”
"I want you. Tell me how I can have you.”
“You have a bad temper, Mr. Morrison.”
“Get the hell off me,” Tate snarled through his teeth.
“I’m not on you.”
“Yes, you fucking are.”
“I’m against you. There’s a mighty big difference. Take last night, for example, when you were lying on my bed, naked, with your legs spread and me in between them—that was me on you.”
“I also like that.”
“What?” Logan exhaled.
“How much you want me. It’s a fucking rush. The way you watch me, and look at me is so shameless.”

BLURB: TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.
Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.
Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.
He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.
Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.
Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.
At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.
He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.
Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

In TAKE we pick up right where TRY left off, being caught kissing a man by his soon to be ex wife and his sister has sent Tate's life into a downward spiral. He knows they are both going to run to his parents and he would like to be the one to tell them about his relationship with Logan. Hearts not just bodies are now involved in their relationship. Neither are ready to say those special little words but both are feeling more than either expected. Logan, the man who has been a player for years is not accepting what his heart is telling him. Nate knows he needs more but never thought he would get it from Logan. Meeting parents is a big step in any relationship but bringing someone of the same sex home to a very Catholic family is not going to turn out well for Tate but he never expects it to go so horribly wrong. Will Nate hang in for Logan and will Logan be there when Tate needs him the most? You will not only get the answers to those questions but you will get some much more in this book.
I loved this book, I mean loved it. If I could give it more than a five star rating then I would. The love and heartache are so realistic that you are pulled straight into the book from page one. I was up way past my bedtime reading this book. I was stuck between rushing through it to find out what was going to happen next or to take my time, read slowly so it would never end. I had a complete book hangover once I hit 100% on my Kindle, it was like I didn't know what to do next. I am so ready for book three that I can hardly stand it.
What I did not talk about in my review for Try was the sex between these two.
Not everyone will understand what I am talking about when I say the sex was so unbelievably hot, sexy and seriously realistic. By realistic I mean emotionally gripping, not only was it hot it was loving. Two people showing how they truly feel about each other and they both happen to have dicks. But besides having dicks they both have hearts and the love jumped from the pages in both books.
Some of my favorite quotes from TAKE by Ella Frank
“I can’t wait to give your mouth a reason to be so fucking dirty.”
“There’s a hint of sweet with a full helping of stubborn and dirty as fuck.”
“You make me crazy and furious and out of my mind with need, but in the end, you make me so fucking happy. I can’t ever remember feeling this way. And no one is going to tell me it’s wrong. No one.”
“Ahh, flattery. It will get you everywhere.” “Yeah, it’s how I put up with Logan. Tell him he’s hot and he rolls right over.”
