Blurb: Cursed by a demon, William O’Brien changes into a dragon with mystical powers he can’t control. In dragon form he becomes a ravenous beast with the power to destroy the crew of the Soaring Phoenix. He’s forced to make a decision: leave the ship or face killing the crew. But before he can go, he discovers a new menace hunts him. The God of the Underworld has released a female demon, more deadly and evil than before, with orders to capture William and combine his powers with a male witch in order to destroy the crew of the Soaring Phoenix. Mariah Fey, a talented witch, wants only to save her brother from the bowels of the evil pirate ship, the Fiery Damsel. If William will trust her, she can teach him how to harvest his gifts, control his abilities, and together their true love can defeat their enemies.

1. M.L., Can you please share a little about yourself?
I have to admit I love the supernatural. I was hooked on Dark Shadows when I was kid. I love to go on ghost tours. My favorite has been the Jack the Ripper tour in London.
2. Can you please tell us about the Legends of the Soaring Phoenix series?
The Legends of the Soaring Phoenix is a historical paranormal romance and its about pirates turned vampires, but my vampires only turn during a full moon. It's classic tale between good and evil.
3. How did you come up with the idea of this story/series?
I love both vampires and pirates, but I wanted a twist. I have had the series planned out and already have a mapped out the next three books.
4. In book one the hero Captain Kane O’Brien is not happy about being a vampire, in the second book do we find out more if Hannah helps him adjust to this life?
In this book, Kane and Hannah have become closer, but he still struggles with being a vampire. I'm not sure Kane will ever full accept being a vampire.
5. Can you tell us a little about William, the hero of A Pirate’s Revenge, the second book in this series?
In the first book, William always looked down upon Kane for being a vampire. In this book, he discovers there are worse things than being cursed as a vampire. Zuto has other plans for him and he must learn to trust a witch to handle being a dragon.
6. Do you have an idea of how many books there will be in this series?
At this point, I'm looking at least 10. The next book will be shorter—A Pirate's Agony. This is Amadi's story and he's swept off the ship back to St. Kitts and forced to be a slave again.
7. Without giving away to much, what is your favorite scene from the book?
My favorite scene is when Zuto sends Mariah and William to Coaybay on an errand. They meet new evil creatures and must rely on each other to survive.
8. What is on your To Be Read pile that you are dying to start or upcoming release you can’t wait for?
I recently got hooked on romantic suspense and am currently reading Allison Brennan's Lucy Kincaid series.
9. What kind of paranormal character do you like to write about the best and why?
Ever since Dark Shadows, I have a thing for vampires. Out of all the supernatural beings, they seduce their victims with a kiss. Of course, I'd want to be like Kane and not kill my victims, just take what I need.
Thank you M.L. for stopping by, we look forward to you coming back any time.
