REVIEW: When we left Laura and Ben in the first book, it was years before, and we thought maybe they would get their HEA.
But we find ourselves in the future. Laura and Ben now have a teenage son, Charlie. As hard they try to have a normal life, they are pushed into the battle between the Earth and Elyon, an alien planet who is lead by Adrian, who is pure evil. Even to his own son Caleb.
Laura and Ben try to hide Charlie's powers. He is a destroyer, meaning he destroys and gains power. He also has the power of mind control. When Adrian finds out about him, he wants Charlie and his power to help take over Earth.
As a warning. This book just like the first, is very dark and intense.
Other then that it has an intriguing plot and keeps you looking for more. All the ground work for the Book 3 is there waiting.
