Review: Lisa Carlisle has created a delightful story full of shifters, witches, and gargoyles, swirled within an enchanted island. Kayla, a tree witch, finds she can’t stay away from Mason, a gargoyle that turns into a hot sexy hunk with the setting sun. From past generations a feud has separated the species and drawn territorial boundaries that are not to be crossed. Yet Kayla can not let it go at that. She searches out the truth because she knows in her heart that what she has been told isn’t right. Mason is not the monster her coven claims all gargoyles are. Mason feels the same attraction to Kayla that she does to him. Despite the many obstacles determined to keep them apart, with the help from their enemy the shifters, they find the truth that brings peace to the land and allows the two lovers to begin a new life.
