That's what Davin and Alaric have been since the beginning but it did not stop them from falling in love while still in high school. Lies and a heartbreaking tragedy pulls them apart, but eight years later another tragedy throws them together again. Alaric has never stopped loving Davin and when the truth comes out he learns that Davin never stopped loving him either. Working together they set out to find out what Alaric's brother was up to before he was murdered. Knowing they still love each other doesn't erase the past eight years of hurt but taking it one day at a time they pull their lives together to be happy with each other again.
