The quote comes from my new novel Katie in Love - the first of my books to take on that scary, abstract, human madness we call LOVE.
Love is frightening because when you fall in love, you are afraid of falling out of love. Love makes you feel joyful and vulnerable. Food tastes better. You need to go to the bathroom all of the time. You can’t sleep. You laugh for no reason. You walk into doors. You start to give away your old clothes. Even your shoes.
