Review: Clairessa's arranged mating is 6 years past due. Claire believes in the bonding of the mating, though it appears her mate doesn't because he refuses to meet with her. After a cheating boyfriend, who she never loved, showed his true colors, Claire found herself in a club where she meets Rowe. Finally thinking of herself only, she thinks she can have one night with an elf like herself to make her forget all her worries.
Rowe has done his best to avoid relationships and that includes his arranged mating. Rowe was cursed as an infant, when he finds true love he will die. But what would another quick one night stand with a beautiful woman hurt? Nothing,... until she was gone before the sun came up. Rowe would have usually been fine with that until Claire. Now he needs to find her.
I really like this story, Rowe and Claire fall for each other without sex or a relationship being involved. Claire pulling away and Rowe trying to get closer. Smooth, quick & interesting read.
