BLURB:
Dante Notte has heard it said that love hurts. He just wasn’t expecting it to run him over in an RV. Still, a punctured lung and broken ribs are nothing compared to the full-body shock he feels whenever he’s near the vehicle’s driver, Mary Winslow. He needs to keep her safe from their pursuers while he rescues his brother. Most challenging of all, he needs to claim this smart, stubborn woman as his life mate.
The naked, injured, insanely gorgeous younger man who clambered into her RV insists they belong together. If Mary wasn’t feeling their incredible connection in every inch of her being, she wouldn’t believe it. But now that the men who took Dante’s twin are after her too, trusting her gut means risking her life for an immortal who’s the very definition of a perfect stranger.
Review:
Nanos. Oh how I love the nanos. This was a great installment to one of my all time favorite series, The Argeneau Series. It’s all there, humor, danger, adventure, and a hunky Dante Notte dishing out some red hot sex. There were several emotional moods brought to the surface that have you swinging like a pendulum. Some sad, some having you spew your coffee out your nose if you aren’t careful from laughing. Even Lucian snaps a joke, (wonders never cease). Being a little older I could relate to a lot of Mary’s thoughts and values on the way things should be. But daaaaannng,.... she held out a lot longer than I would have, LOL!!!!
I also enjoyed how some of our favorite characters from other stories made appearances here and there. As with one big happy family, I savor touching base with past characters. While there is a HEA, there is still the problem with Tomasso. I hope Ms. Sands writes fast. I have lots of questions about what is going on and I hope they will be answered in the next book. This is one series that I hope never ends. Come on #24!!
