Okay, now to Alec and Mark, boy these two burned the sheets up in this book. Two men who could not stay away from each other no matter that they had everything going against them. I adored Alec from the other books, I knew his story would be more of his own demons being harder on himself than what everyone else thought of him. His internal blaming for the deaths of his teammates rode him hard for years making him not a heartless asshole but a tough asshole who did not want to let anyone get close to him. Who knew it would take a lonely younger shifter from another pack to get his attention? Sweet Mark, a shifter who had concerns that he was being played by his alpha but didn't know what to do about it fell quick and hard for the older sexy beta from the rival pack. Fighting each other and fighting others pulls these two together to get what they both really wanted in the end.
