HALO
Book One of the Fallen Angel SeriesAn MM Rock Romance
ELLA FRANK and BROOKE BLAINE
Massive world tours. Over a hundred million albums sold. Groupies galore.
Every day is a party for Viper and the guys of TBD, the biggest rock band in the world. But it all comes to a screeching halt when the lead singer walks out of the studio one day and never comes back.
Ear-blistering vocals. Butchered lyrics. Fame chasers.
After months of lackluster auditions, Viper, the lead guitarist and resident bad boy of the group, is ready to find solace in the bottom of a bottle. Time’s running out and the pressure’s on to find a new singer, but it isn’t until an angel walks through the door that the band’s prayers are answered.
Charismatic. Talented. Magic behind the mic. Halo is everything they’ve been looking for.
With a voice to match his stunning good looks, it isn’t long before Viper’s taking notice. But there are several reasons this is a bad idea:
- Interpersonal relationships in the band are discouraged
- Viper has already broken rule #1—big mistake
- Halo is straight
As both men try to resist the fire blazing between them, and the band is forced to reinvent themselves, it’ll be a complicated rise back to the top. But from the ashes of what was, something beautiful is born. Something better. And when the world finally sees Halo stretch his wings, they’ll discover what it’s like to fall for an angel.
HALO is available now on Kindle Unlimited and is coming soon to paperback and Audible!
Wendy's Review:
First, let me say, Holy shit that cover is one of the most gorgeous covers I've ever seen and that cover model is dead on for how I pictured Halo in my head. I loved the chemistry between Halo and Viper, it sizzled right off the pages. My one little problem was the ending, I wanted a HEA but this is a great HFN, it makes me look forward to more.

Honestly the whole time I was reading the book I kept thinking, Trent Knox, Trent Knox, where do I know that name from? Duh, he was in Brooke Blaine's A Little Bit Like Desire book. Loved that book too.
I'm not going to rehash the whole blurb for you here though, what I liked about the story was the build-up between the two men. Talking about a slow burn that finally ignites. Viper is brash, outspoken and to-the-point which makes him a sexy as hell man to me. I loved everything about him. Then there is Halo, Viper's Angel, besides being hot AF on the cover, he is everything... talented, in awe of the band, nervous, he seemed real to me.
I'm certainly looking forward to more books about these two men.
